Colour mixing

This is a very simple activity which will teach your kids about secondary colours.

Things you will need: primary water colours (red, blue, yellow), brushes, tray to mix the colours, and water

How to:

  1. Take 2 primary colours at a time and start mixing, either with brush or with hands.
  2. You can also take a cup of water and add three drops of different colours and let your child observe this magical process.
  3. Ask your child to mix the colours after you have demonstrated the same to them.
  4. Once your child has learnt the formation of different colours using two primary colours, you can help them explore formation of colours using 3 primary colours.

Fun Fact: You can make this activity interesting by applying different colours on your child's palms and imprint them on a paper!

Happy Gaming!
