Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Moral: friendship

Duration: 2h 32 m

Language: English

What’s in it for you and your child?

Harry Potter is an ordinary child living with his aunt and uncle but he learns that he is actually a wizard and is invited to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. There he encounters great many creatures and realises that the wizarding world is way more dangerous than what he imagined.

From this movie children can learn that with friends we can overcome every hurdle. As Harry and his friends fight for what is right we also learn that we must stand up for the oppressed and it is our duty to be brave and fight evil. As Harry finds his new home in Hogwarts and his new family among his friends after he defies his abusive guardians, children can learn that indeed blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.
