Make sure your baby burps: After you feed your baby, hold him/her in upright position and make them burp so if there is any gastric issue in the stomach, it gets resolved.
Give them a pacifier: It helps in diaphragm relaxation and help stop the periods of hiccups.
Simplest way is to pat on baby’s back. Hold him/her against the shoulder and pat gently but firmly.
Sugar: Place a pinch of sugar on baby’s tongue. The sweetness of sugar will distract the nerves and stop the diaphragm from contractions.
Try giving water.
Let it stop on its own.
