These are a few things to keep in mind before opting for a walker for your
child: Walkers are banned in some developed countries. The major problem with
walkers is when the child falls from stairs using walker. This can cause serious
injuries on head and neck which in turn can lead to long term complications.
Apart from stairs, sometimes their fingers get caught in the walkers which
results into serious problems like cuts on fingers and toes. At times children
even fall from the walker into the pool or a bathtub. Ideally, Walkers should be
avoided unless they are used under strict supervision of adults.
