Once upon a time in a little house on the edge of the woods a girl called Goldilocks lived with her parents. One morning she woke up as the sun was streaming through her window; thinking it was time for school, she leapt out of bed.Goldilocks pestered her mother. Her mother was busy “It’s far too early for school; don’t get fussy. Why don’t you go out for a walk? You can pick some blackberries on the way back so we can make a pie for dinner tonight” she suggested.Goldilocks readily went into the woods with a basket looking out for blackberries. She was so immersed in herself that she went further and further into the woods.After humming and walking for a while, she began to feel hungry and tired.&nbsp;At some distance, she saw a cottage and thought, “Perhaps I could get something to eat there and have a rest”.She knocked on the door but there was no reply. She pushed the door gently and to her surprise, it opened. Cautiously she went in. “Hello” she called, but there was no reply.The door opened into a kitchen and she could smell something delicious. She looked around and saw three bowls on the table. The bowls were of 3 different sizes, big, medium, and small. By each bowl was a chair according to the sizes of the bowls - big, medium and small. Picking up the smallest spoon she tried the porridge. It was perfect. So, very very quickly Goldilocks ate all the porridge up. When she was just about to finish the porridge in the smallest bowl, she heard a strange creaking sound. As soon as she ate the last spoonful, the legs of the chair she was sitting on broke and she landed with a bump on the floor.Because she had eaten so much of porridge and because of the bump, she felt very sleepy. She wanted to take a small nap so she explored the cottage for a bed to lie down. Upstairs, she found a great big bed, she climbed up onto it but, oh, it was so hard.Then she found a medium-sized bed, she climbed into it but it was so soft she felt as though she would disappear in it.Then she found a small bed. It felt just right so she climbed right into it, pulled the covers over herself and was soon fast asleep.As soon as she fell asleep the owners of the cottage came back. The owners were 3 bears, Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear and Baby Bear. They had gone out for a walk in the woods before breakfast and now they were hungry.“What’s this!” growled Daddy Bear, “it looks as though someone’s been messing with my porridge and whoever it is has left muddy footprints on my chair”.Mummy Bear came to look “You’re right, my dear” she said in her soft growl “someone’s been messing with my porridge too, and I’m sure the cushion on my chair has been sat on”.Then Baby Bear began to cry, “Someone’s been messing with my porridge and they’ve eaten it all up and they’ve broken my chair as well” he sobbed in his little, squeaky, growl.All the three bears were wondering who had been into their cottage and caused damages. They looked around the house and went upstairs.“Well” growled Daddy Bear “Someone’s been in my bed, but where is this someone?” “Someone’s been in my bed too” said Mummy Bear “but I can’t find them” Then they heard a squeak from Baby Bear “Daddy, Mummy, come quickly, there’s someone fast asleep in my bed.”Daddy and Mummy Bear raced into Baby Bear’s room and stood around his bed. She woke with a surprise and was frightened to see three bears all looking down at her. Before they could talk to her, she jumped out of bed, out of the window and ran away through the woods back to her home because she didn’t know that they were really gentle, friendly bears.“Well I never” growled Daddy Bear scratching his head “my Grandfather told me people were strange.&nbsp;Fancy! Eating all that porridge and then running away”.&nbsp;Puzzled, the three bears went back to the kitchen where Daddy Bear mended Baby Bear’s chair while Mummy Bear made more porridge, and from that day to this bears all over the world have always known that people are strange things who are not to be trusted with porridge.

GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BEARS

Once, a prince went on a hunting spree in a dense forest. He wandered the whole day in search of prey but did not come across a single animal, big or small that he could kill. By the evening he got very tired and thus, sat under a tree to take some rest. Just then, he saw a huge tiger coming out of the bushes and moving forward towards him. The prince was petrified and in order to save his life, he climbed up the nearest tree. When he reached the top of the tree, he saw a huge bear sitting on one of the branches. He started to tremble with fear as he thought that he would now surely be killed by either of the two wild animals. The bear calmed down the prince and said, “Don’t worry, my dear prince. This tree is my house and thus, you are my guest. I never harm my guests.” The prince believed in what the bear said and stopped panicking. The tiger also sat down under the tree and kept waiting for the prince to come down. Soon the sun set and there was darkness everywhere. The prince was terribly tired and, he fell fast asleep on the branch. When the tiger saw the sleeping prince, he said to the bear, “Do not give shelter to this prince. Human beings are our enemies. Push him down on the ground and let me make him my meal.”“No, I will never do such an evil thing.” said the bear. “Moreover, he is my guest,” the bear added.In the morning, when the prince woke up, he saw the bear sleeping beside him. The cunning tiger said to the prince, “Don’t trust this wicked bear! He is being nice to you only till the time I am sitting here. The moment I leave, he will kill you. So, I would advise you to push this bear down before me. I will eat him and let you go.”The selfish prince thought that it was not a bad idea to throw the bear down and save his life. So, he pushed the unsuspecting bear off the branch. The bear woke up with a jerk and caught hold of another branch and saved his life somehow. He cursed the prince for his selfishness and said, “It was indeed a mistake on my part to place my trust in a selfish human being like you.” Moral:Selfish people are only concerned about themselves. Even if someone is being good to them, they suspect something wrong and end up losing everyone in their lives.

One day, the bear was very hungry and he wanted to eat something. He decided to go out to search for food.The day was very beautiful and bright. The sun was shining and everything looked bright and pretty. The bear decided to eat fish to enjoy the bright sunny day. So, he went to a river to catch fish. The river was filled with fishes and the bear was very happy to see that. He decided to eat lots of fish.The bear prepared himself for the hunt. He looked at the fish and waited for the chance. The bear looking at the opportunity tried to catch a fish. As soon as he grabbed a fish, he was very happy. But when he saw the fish, he became sad. he said, “This fish is very small. I will wait for the bigger fish.” The bear threw the fish back in the water.He again started hunting for the fish. He waited for his chance. He swung his arm in the water and grabbed another fish. After looking at the second fish he again said, “Oh no! This is very small. I need a bigger one.” He again threw the fish back in the water.He continued doing the same again and again. Every time the fish he grabbed was too small for him and every time he would throw the fish back in the water. He wanted to eat a bigger fish. In the end, he was very tired and had nothing to eat because he had thrown every fish back in the river. Moral:Many small things make up for one big thing. The Foolish Bear

There was once a peasant who lived with his family in the village. His family used to help him in his fields. After some time, his wife passed away due to prolonged sickness. He said to him, “Bravo, let’s keep the house, the plants and our garden together and sow our corn.” Bravo asked him, “But how shall we divide it afterward?” the peasant replied, “Well, you take all the tops and I will take all the roots.” Bravo agreed, and they sowed some turnips together which grew beautifully.Bravo worked hard and gathered all the turnips and then they began to divide them. The peasant said, “The tops are yours, right bravo?” The bear replied, “Yes”. The peasant cut off the turnip tops and gave them to the bravo. He then counted his roots. The bear saw the roots of the peasants and thought that the tops are of no use. They are useless. Bravo then realized that the peasant had cheated him, he felt very bad and lay down in his den.In the next spring, the peasant again came to see the bear. He said, “Bravo, let us work together again, shall we?” Bravo replied, “Only if you keep the tops and let me have the roots!” The peasant agreed.This time they sowed some wheat. They both worked hard to grow the crop. When the crop grew up, it looked beautiful. Finally, they began to divide it. The peasant took all the tops with the grain and gave all the roots to the Bravo. So, this time also the bear did not get anything.Bravo felt very bad and said, “Goodbye, Peasant. I am not going to work with you anymore. You are very deceiving.” And with that, he went off into the forest. The peasant was left all alone and had no one to help him in the field. Moral:Never cheat anyone.

The monkey was very disappointed with this.The monkey thought that the secret of bear’s strength was the honey and that was the reason he did not give him the honey. The monkey decided to eat a lot of honey so that he could become as strong as the bear. He silently entered the bear’s den and stole the pot of honey.Every day the bear and monkey used to meet but that day the monkey did not come to meet the bear. So, the bear went to the monkey’s house to see if he was doing well. The monkey was suffering from the stomach ache. The bear saw an empty pot of honey and understood what the monkey had done. The monkey was crying because of the pain and said, “I just wanted to be like you bear.” The bear replied, “You cannot be like me by just copying me. Only bears can eat so much of honey and digest it. That’s why I gave you a little amount of honey.”Then the bear immediately called the doctor and the monkey was hospitalized. Whenever piglet floated, pooh ran after him. Pooh and piglet went right through the rabbit’s carrot patch. They carried carrots along with them everywhere due to the wind and that made the rabbit very angry.The wind started blowing even stronger and with that, pooh and piglet were thrown at the Owl’s window. Looking at both of them, owl happily said, “What a pleasant surprise.” The Owl opened the window and invited them inside. As soon as the Owl opened the window, a strong gust of wind entered and his entire house was brought down.Everyone from the Hundred-Acre Wood came to help them but no one knew what to do. In the end Eeyore, the donkey said it’s time to look for a new house. Sadly, everyone agreed and the donkey gave the job of finding the new house to the Owl.When the night came, it was still windy. Poor pooh tried to sleep but he could not sleep. Pooh heard some strange voices and that made him uncomfortable. He decided to investigate and see who was there. He got up, opened the door and with trembling hands due to the wind, he asked, “Who’s out there?” Pooh prayed for no reply.At that very moment, pooh saw a strange-looking animal. The animal was orange in colour with black stripes all over its body. The animal said, “My name is Tiger.” Pooh said, “Oh, you scared me.” Tiger said, “Everyone is scared of Tigers.” And he laughed. Pooh curiously asked, “What is a Tiger?” tiger jumped around showing all he could and said, “I am hungry”. The pooh sadly said, “I hope not for honey.” Fortunately, the tiger hated honey. So, he left.The windy night turned into a rainy night. It rained heavily that night. The next morning, Hundred-Acre Wood was flooded with water all around. Pooh was scared that due to the water all his honey pots would go to waste. So, he decided to eat them all. But as he was licking the last pot, the water was flowing so heavily that it took pooh and his honey pot along with it.Everyone was struggling because of the flood. Piglet was also suffering in the water. The water entered his house through the window. He had no one to help him. So, poor piglet wrote a note asking for help and put it in a bottle. Then, he threw the bottle in the water. He thought someone would surely come to help him.All the people from the Hundred-Acre Wood gathered around Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin lived on a high hill and water could not reach there. He found the piglet’s note and sent Owl to find the piglet. Owl went to find a piglet. While flying he saw two objects. The two objects were Pooh the bear and the piglet. Owl shouted, “Pooh, Piglet! Christopher Robin is planning a rescue for you two.” Pooh was still stuck in his honey pot and the piglet stood firmly clinging onto a chair. They finally floated to Christopher Robin’s hill. After seeing Pooh and Piglet, Christopher said, “Pooh, you rescued Piglet! You are a hero. I must throw a Hero party for you, pooh!”Christopher threw a grand party for everyone and everyone started coming to the party. When Eeyore arrived, he announced, “I have found a new house for Owl.” Eeyore wished to show everyone Owl’s new house. Everyone followed Eeyore and to their surprise, Eeyore stopped in front of Piglet’s house. Before Pooh could say anything, Piglet gave up his house to Owl. Pooh happily said, “Piglet, you shall stay with me then.”Christopher Robin was very happy seeing the kind gesture of the Piglet. He said, “Piglet, that was a very kind gesture. One day, a bear was sleeping in the forest. A farmer saw the bear sleeping and sneaked into him and cut off one of his paws with an axe. The farmer brought the paw home. He said to his wife, “Boil some soup from the flesh, and knit some warm gloves from the wool.” Her wife took off the skin, threw the flesh into the pot to boil, and sat down to spin the wool. When the bear woke up, he found out that one of his paws was not there. There was no one to help him so, he cut a bit of wood and tied it instead of his leg. After that, we went into the village. On his way, he sang: Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! I am stumbling with the tree wood on my leg,The water’s asleep, and the earth’s asleep, the whole village is asleep,only one woman is awake, and she is boiling my flesh,sitting on my skin and spinning my wool!” The farmer’s wife got scared by hearing the bear’s voice. The bear’s paw

Once upon a time, a bear was living in a jungle. He admired the moon shining up in the sky. One night, he was looking up at the sky and thought of giving a birthday present to the moon. But he did not know the Birthdate of the moon. He was not even sure what gift he would give to the moon. So, he decided to have a little chat with the moon. He decided to ask the moon what it would like to have for a present and so the bear went up into the mountains to get close to it. When the bear said “Hello” to the moon, his voice echoed back. The bear thought the response was coming from the moon. Because of the echo, everything the bear said was repeated back to him. The bear asked the moon, “What do you want for the birthday?” His voice echoed, and he thought that the moon was asking him what he wanted for the birthday. So, he replied that he wanted a hat. The same sentence was repeated because of the echo and the bear thought that the moon also wanted a hat for his gift. Now, bear knew what he wanted to gift the moon for his birthday. That night bear put the hat in a tree where the moon could find it. As the moon sneaked through the branches of the tree, it appeared that the moon was wearing the hat. The bear saw the moon wearing the hat and was pleased.The next morning, the hat fell out of the tree and to the bear’s doorstep.
