He told them that the thief’s stick would grow two inches by the next day.The next day, Birbal summoned the servants again. He noticed that a servant’s stick was two inches shorter than the others.He knew who the thief was.The foolish thief had cut the stick shorter by two inches as he thought it would grow two inches. Thus, proving his guilt.Moral of the story: Truth and justice will always prevail. <h3>4. But keep falling back.Soon, one of the two frogs started to believe the other frogs — that they’ll never be able to escape the pit and eventually died after giving up.The other frog keeps trying and eventually jumps so high that he escapes the pit. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it.The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouragement of the group. Two of his youngest sons were bricked alive.The Khalsa Brotherhood order was announced by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at gurudwara Sri Anandpur Sahib Ji. At Anandpur Sahib Ji on Baisakhi Day in 1699, Guru Gobind Singh Ji instructed the Sikhs to pledge to live a pure life as taught by the other nine Gurus.Guru Gobind Singh Ji offered males and females respectively the name of ‘Singh’ and ‘Kaur’ to be used after their first name. He also introduced a code of discipline for Khalsa warriors which included the prohibition of tobacco, Halal meat, and adultery.The last battle was fought against tyrant Mughals at Khidrana, Muktsar (Punjab, India). Guru Ji sacrificed his great grandfather, father, four sons, and mother for the Khalsa Panth.Guru Gobind Ji Introduced the Khalsa &amp; the Five Ks and declared Guru Granth Sahib as eternal Guru for Sikhs. A long time ago, there was a huge banyan tree which was home to the nests of many birds. One day, a hunter happened to come to the tree. On seeing the many birds living on the tree, he set up his net below the tree and scattered a few grains of rice to attract them.A flock of pigeons flying past the banyan tree saw the grains of rice and went down to eat them. Suddenly, a huge net fell over them and they were trapped. They struggled to get out of it but couldn’t. They could see the hunter walking towards them looking delighted having caught so many pigeons.The pigeons were distressed and thought the end was near. But the wise king of the pigeons had a plan and said, “We should all fly up carrying the net with us. Once we manage to get away from the hunter, we can think of what to do next.”The pigeons listened to their king’s advice. Each pigeon held a part of the huge net in his beak and all of them flew up together. The hunter was amazed to see this happening. He tried to catch them, but they were too fast. The king of the pigeons knew a mouse that lived not far from them and could help them escape the net.Hearing his friend’s voice, the mouse came out of his hole. He saw the pigeons and their king trapped in the net and said, “Oh! Who did this? I will set you free right away.” He began to nibble the net nearest to the king, but the king stopped him and said, “First, set my subjects free. No king can see his subjects in pain and be free himself.” The mouse nibbled off the net easily with his sharp teeth and after freeing all the pigeons, he freed the king pigeon at last.The pigeons were very grateful to the mouse. They thanked the mouse and flew away. Moral:Strength lies in unity.

Go to sleep now.” El frowns but does as she is told. El snuggles into the covers and goes to sleep. She wakes up to the sound of birds chirping. Like every morning she wants to dig deeper into her bed and not wake up but this time she can smell the cakes and sweets everywhere.&nbsp; El immediately jolts out of her bed as she realises this and looks around only to realise that she was not in her bed. She is not even in her room! El was a brave girl so she didn’t immediately panic. She looked around her to see green, sprawling meadows with flowers and wild plants littered around. As she went closer she realised that they were not little flowers, they were pastries! Her mouth watered as she saw tiny cakes of different colours. There were little candies and chocolates hanging from trees. Rainbow coloured water flows in streams and the wind in her hair smelled of sweets. El looked around bewildered. “Is this real?” She pinched herself. A small melodic sound of someone laughing filled the air. She looked around to find a small blue pixie. El pinched herself again. “Oh God, are you real?” The pixie laughed again. “Yes, dear El. I am very real.”El narrowed her eyes, “How do you know my name?” “I know everything.” The pixie answered coyly. “The question that you should be asking is why are you here.” “Why am I here?” El parrotted.&nbsp; “You are here to get whatever you want and take it home. El’s eyes widened. “What?” “Yes. You heard correct.” El was amazed. She immediately began looking around and gathering treats. When she was done, the pixie finally spoke. “You can take this all, dear, and then some more but on one condition only.” “What?” El asked. “Only if you listen to your mother.” El eagerly agreed. The pixie promised to get her even more treats.&nbsp; That was when El woke up with a jolt. She was disappointed that this was all just a dream.&nbsp; But then she looked around her and there were baskets of cakes and chocolates and sweets and ice-creams. El was amazed.&nbsp;She rushed out of her room to tell her mother about what happened.&nbsp;

She then looks at her dosa. It is too big to fit in a spoon or be held by a knife.Sally needs to cut the dosa into tinier pieces. She uses the knife because it is sharp and can cut the dosa.Then she uses a fork to eat the dosa because forks have teeth which provide better grip.Sally enjoys her dinner a lot.

The Ramayan is an ancient Sanskrit epic written by the famous sage Valmiki. It describes Lord Rama's effort to rescue Sita from the demon king Ravana. It also describes the challenges faced by Lord Rama, Laxaman, and Sita when they were exiled from the kingdom for 14 years. Following is a story from ìThe Ramayanaî.When it was time for him to die, Rama deceived Hanuman. This was because Hanuman would not let Yama claim Ramaís soul, and thus, it was impossible for Rama to die. To distract Hanuman, Rama threw his ring in a crack and asked Hanuman to get it. Hanuman turned himself into the size of a beetle and jumped inside the crack which led him to Naag Lok (where serpents reside). He asked King Vasuki of Naag Lok for the ring, who guided him towards a pile of rings, all of which belonged to Rama. Hanuman was shocked to see the pile of rings, and Vasuki informed him that he was tricked by Rama.

He won’t be able to run fast or anything.”The girl smiled and showed him her metal leg. “Good, because I cannot run fast either.”Toby was brought to a home where his human played with him while considering his physical limits. The girl would always be very thoughtful of Toby’s needs. In return, the girl found companionship in Toby.Toby lived happily ever after, with a girl who loved him and understood him. Once a learned Pandit came to Akbar’s court and expressed his desire to test the intelligence of his courtiers. Emperor Akbar was very proud of his set of learned and highly decorated courtiers and he was sure that they would be able to clear whatever test the Pandit gave them. Thus, he granted Pandit’s wish. Next day all the courtiers gathered in the Emperor’s durbar and waited for the Pandit to arrive. The Pandit reached the court at the appointed time. He had a pot covered with a cloth in his hand. He put it in front of the courtiers, and said, “If any one of you can tell me what lies in this pot, I would accept my defeat.”There was pin drop silence in the court. Nobody knew how to tell the contents of a covered pot. Then Birbal came forward, he uncovered the pot, peeped inside and said, “There is nothing inside the pot. It is empty!”The Pandit said, “This is cheating! You opened the pot.”Birbal replied, “But, Panditji, you never said not to open it in the first place!”The Pandit understood that the clever minister of Emperor Akbar had outwitted him. He humbly bowed to the Emperor and left. Moral:Even if the question is silly, you can manage the situation by thinking on your feet and giving a witty answer.

So, one day he spoke to his mom about his fear.His mother wanted him to overcome his fear. So, she told him that he had a cousin named Kanha, who herds cattle in the forest. She told him to shout his name and cross the forest without any fear.The next day when the kid was crossing the forest, he shouted Kanha with the hope that he would come to help him. Suddenly, a boy appeared before him and said his name was Kanha. He walked with him until they reached at the end of the forest.Every day after that, the boy would shout Kanha, and he would come to help him cross the forest. After some time, the boy became fearless. One day his mother asked the boy about his fear. The boy described the whole story to his mom.The mother was truly surprised after hearing the story. She eventually discovered that the boy who was accompanying her son was actually Lord Krishna. The mother realized that Lord Krishna helped her son in crossing the forest. This was possible because of his unwavering faith. Moral:Nothing is impossible for someone who has actual faith in God. God can help us in our difficult times and could give us strength.

So every day, the mango would insult the almond seeds on his looks and their taste. All the other plants tried to make the mango stop harassing the almond but he never listened. One summer, well dried up. The sun was scorching and the heat was merciless. It went on for days and the mangoes got bad.
