Midas helped the Satyr and asked for his wish to be granted in return.The Satyr agreed and Midas wished for everything he touched to be turned to gold. His wish was granted.Extremely excited, Midas went home to his wife and daughter touching pebbles, rocks, and plants on the way, which turned into gold.As his daughter hugged him, she turned into a golden statue.Having learnt his lesson, Midas begged the Satyr to reverse the spell who granted that everything would go back to their original state.Moral of the story: Stay content and grateful for what you have. He told them that the thief’s stick would grow two inches by the next day.The next day, Birbal summoned the servants again. He noticed that a servant’s stick was two inches shorter than the others.He knew who the thief was.The foolish thief had cut the stick shorter by two inches as he thought it would grow two inches. Thus, proving his guilt.Moral of the story: Truth and justice will always prevail. <h3>4. But keep falling back.Soon, one of the two frogs started to believe the other frogs — that they’ll never be able to escape the pit and eventually died after giving up.The other frog keeps trying and eventually jumps so high that he escapes the pit. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it.The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouragement of the group. Easter Sunday celebrates Jesus coming back to life after he was hanged on the cross. According to the Bible, Jesus Christ was crucified on Good Friday. He was buried in a grave. On the third day, his disciples visited his grave and found out that the grave was empty. The day stands for the victory of Christ over death. The resurrection of Jesus is what ultimately makes him the ‘Son of God’. People celebrate Easter through various events and activities. Churches are decorated with flowers, lightnings, and candles. People visit the church and offer their prayers. Children decorate Easter Eggs with colours and sparkles. Various events are organised like Egg Hunt, Egg festival, etc. People prepare a variety of cuisines and celebrate the festival with their families. The tradition of Easter Eggs represents fertility and birth. It signifies new life, fertility, and rebirth. It is believed that the hard shell of the egg symbolises the sealed ‘Tomb of Christ’ and the egg's cracking represents his resurrection from death. Painted eggs or Chocolate filled eggs are common gifts exchanged at this festival. They were outside the palace of King Herod. They went to King Herod to ask about the child that was born. King Herod was afraid he would lose his kingdom so he said, “Tell me when you find this child so that I can also honour him.” The wise men were disappointed and did not know where to find the child. They again saw the star in the sky and started following it. They kept following the star and the star disappeared when they reached their destination. The wise men were overwhelmed. They were outside the house. They went inside and saw a little child in Mary’s lap. The child was born to Mary and Joseph. The wise men knew that the child was Jesus, son of God so they knelt down in front of him. They came with valuable gifts for their Lord. They offered God with precious gold and valuable gifts. When they left the house, they did not go back to King Herod because they were warned in their dream not to do that. They travelled back to their homes. One night, Joseph, the father of the child saw an angel in his dream. The angel warned him in the dream, “Hurry to Egypt and save the child. King Herod wants to kill the child and the Lord needs to be saved.”So, Joseph and Mary immediately left for Egypt along with Jesus. After many years, when King Herod died, the angel again came to Joseph’s dream and said, “You can go back to Bethlehem with Jesus, it is safe now.” Soon, they went back to Bethlehem and lived there happily. That is the place where Jesus grew up.Moral:Have faith that God always plans things for the greater good.

Just as Jesus was sent by the Father to give light/enlightenment, Jesus now sends the man to a pool that bears the meaning ‘Sent’, in order to receive sight/insight, and to bring light to a dark world. But it was Jesus and he did not drown instead he walked over the water and reached the boat safely.Seeing Jesus, Peter who was one of his disciples asked if he could also walk on water. Jesus said yes, as long as he kept Jesus as his focus. Peter too was walking on the water but the moment he took his eye off the Jesus and concentrated on waves, he began to sink. Jesus grabbed Peter and saved him. Finally, the disciples realised that Jesus was the Son of God. Moral:Make God your focus, not your problems.

They all were overjoyed to see their friend and savior again. They also knew that Jesus was God's very own son.Jesus told them that God sacrificed him, the Lord's son, to wash away humanity's sins. At midnight, inside the prison Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God which was heard by the rest of the prisoners. And all of a sudden, there was a great earthquake, due to which foundations of the prison were shaken, followed by which, all the doors were opened, and everyone's bands were loose. The keeper of the prison woke out of his sleep, and saw the prison doors open. He drew out his sword to kill himself, assuming that the prisoners fled and he was to be blamed for that. But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, we are all here and you need not punish yourself. Then the keeper went trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, begging them to answer what should he do to be saved? To which they said, “Believe in the Lord, and you and your house will be safe.” Moral:Always be true to yourself. This is the only way to to be true to the almighty.
