Once upon a time a woman received a cap from a wizard. The wizard told her that it was a magic cap. “What sort of magic does it do?” The woman asked the wizard.The wizard smiled, “You would have to see that for yourself.” The woman took the cap and walked away with it.When she put the cap on her head she heard, “Give me back my food! You cat, give me back my food.”She looked around but there was no one but two cats fighting with each other. She ignored it, thinking that she was imagining the voices.She walked ahead and near a lake she heard, “Ugh these fishermen. I won’t die today.” She frowned because no one was around. What was happening?She walked some more and then a dog came in front of her, “Please give me some food human.” She was shocked. Was it the dog speaking?The dog barked a reply but she could understand it, “Yes. It was me.” The woman realised that all along, these were the voices of animals and she could understand them because of her magic cap.Not only could she understand what they were saying but even they could understand her.The woman decided to use this gift to help animals whose needs could not be understood. She pledged to create a better life for them.

Once, there lived a farmer in land far away. He was very poor. He lived with his wife. One day they both were very hungry. They did not have anything to eat. Their neighbour had a beautiful garden. The farmer decided to pluck fruits from the garden. As soon as he plucked an apple, a voice came from behind. It was from his neighbour. His neighbour was an old witch. She screamed, “How dare you take fruits from my garden. I will turn you both into rats.” The couple was very scared. They requested her to forgive them and assured her they will never pluck any fruit from her garden. The witch said, “Okay, I will forgive you only if you will give me your first child.” The couple was very scared so they agreed immediately.The couple was blessed with a beautiful baby girl after a few years. When the old witch came to know about the baby, she immediately came and snatched the baby away from them. The witch named her Rapunzel. She did not want her parents to take her away, so she locked her up in a tall tower. The Rapunzel looked pretty when she grew up. She was very beautiful. The most beautiful thing about her was her hair. She had long, golden hair.Rapunzel was locked up in a tower since birth so, the only person she saw in her life was the old witch. The old witch use to come to meet her every day. The witch used to climb the tall tower with the help of Rapunzel’s hair. The witch used to tell Rapunzel to let down her hair from the window and she used to climb the tower with that.A prince was passing by the tower one day and saw the witch climbing the tower with the hair. The prince was surprised and he too wanted to try. When the old witch left the place, the prince went below the tower. He then shouted, “Rapunzel, let your hair down.” Rapunzel heard the noise and threw her hair from the window. The prince climbed the tower and reached to her room. Rapunzel was shocked to see the prince. The prince was very handsome and she had never seen someone like that before. Prince was also stunned to see Rapunzel. They both fell in love instantly. After that, every day they began to meet secretly.However, one day when the witch was climbing the tower, Rapunzel mistakenly said, “You are so much heavier than my prince.” The witch understood what was happening and she got angry on Rapunzel. She screamed and cut off her long hair. She sent Rapunzel into a forest. And that day when the prince came to the tower, the witch cursed the prince and he became blind. The prince then went to find Rapunzel in the forest with no eyesight.After many days, Rapunzel found the prince in the forest among the trees. The prince had many injuries. Rapunzel cried when she came to know that the prince had lost his eyesight. As Rapunzel was crying, her tears fell on the prince. Due to her tears, the wounds of the prince started healing. The eyesight of the prince came back. The prince opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was Rapunzel. They both were really happy to see each other. They both hugged each other and decided to go to the prince’s kingdom. They went far away from the wicked witch to the prince’s kingdom and lived happily ever after. Moral:The value of patience and determination. It also teaches the consequences of stealing.

Rapunzel

One day, Alice was sitting on a bench with her sister. She had nothing to do and she was very bored. As she was sitting, she saw a rabbit passing by. The rabbit was instantly checking his watch and was in a hurry. It seemed the rabbit was running late.Alice wanted to know where the rabbit was going so she decided to follow the rabbit. She followed the rabbit and went down the hole. There she found a bottle with a note. The note said, “Drink me”. Alice was very curious to know what was in the drink. She opened the bottle and started drinking. After drinking she felt something strange. She found herself shrinking. She became so small that she could go through a small door in the room. Alice opened the door and went inside it. There she found a lovely garden and went inside it.She went for a walk in the garden. There she met a caterpillar who was sitting on a large mushroom. The caterpillar was smoking a water pipe. Alice inhaled the smoke from the caterpillar and she saw the world shifting into different shapes and colours. It was very strange. Luckily it did not last for long.After some time, she found herself at a tea party with the Mad Hatter, March Hare, and the rabbit. They were fighting with the time and that is it is always 6’O clock in the afternoon there.While walking ahead, Alice met three gardeners who were painting roses red because they accidentally planted white roses. After some time, the queen of hearts came into the garden with her guards. They all were going to play croquet. They used hedgehogs for balls, flamingos for mallets and soldiers for hoops.After some time, the queen got the news that someone had stolen her tarts. The queen became very angry and started looking for the culprit. Suddenly, she saw Alice and thought she was the culprit. The queen asked, “Have you stolen my tarts?” Alice became very nervous and denied. Then, Alice started growing again and the queen believed that she was the culprit. The queen ordered her guards to keep Alice in the prison. Alice cried loudly and said, “I have not stolen the tarts, please let me go.”Suddenly, Alice woke up on the bench next to her sister and realized that it was all a dream.

Alice in the Wonderland

Once, there lived a King and Queen in a beautiful, huge kingdom. The king and queen had a beautiful daughter named Snow White. She was very pretty and had gorgeous black hair and fair skin. The princess became more beautiful as she grew up. She was very kind and generous. But as she grew up, her mother died. Snow White was very depressed after her mother died.The king married a new queen and she turned out to be an evil witch. She had a magic mirror. One day she asked the mirror to tell her who was the most beautiful woman in the kingdom. The mirror replied, “Snow White.” The queen could not hear this and decided to kill her. She directed a soldier to take Snow White away from the Kingdom and kill her.The soldier took Snow White to the forest to kill her, as directed by the queen. Snow White was very kind and generous. She had shown her generosity to everyone. The soldier was also aware of her kind nature. So, the soldier could not kill her. He advised the princess to run away and never come back because the queen wanted to kill her.The princess was shocked by hearing this. She ran as fast as she could through the forest. After a while, she was tired. She decided to take some rest. She saw a tiny house and decided to go inside. When she entered the house, she saw that everything was very small. But as she was very tired, she decided to take some rest. She laid down on the little bed and fell asleep.The princess was sleeping on the bed and after some time seven dwarves entered the tiny house. As they entered the house, they saw Snow-white on the bed and were surprised. The dwarfs said, “Why is a girl sleeping on our bed? What is she doing here?” The voice woke up the princess. She told everything to the dwarves. She told them about the witch queen. The dwarves allowed the princess to stay in their house. The princess soon became friends with the dwarves. She cooked food for them and they lived happily.The witch queen soon found out that the princess was still alive. She turned herself into an old lady and entered the house. The witch knocked on the door. Snow White opened the door and saw an old lady. The old lady gave her a delicious apple and asked her to taste it. Snow White took the bite of the apple. The apple was poisonedand as soon as she took a bite, she fell on the ground and never woke up. The little dwarves were very sad and decided to put her on the flower bed.One day, a prince saw Snow-White lying on a flower bed. He was awe-struck by her beauty and fell in love with her. He took her hand and kissed it. The moment, the prince kissed her, she woke up. The kiss had the power to break the witch’s magic.As soon as she woke up, she saw the prince. She was pleased to see the charming prince. She fell in love with him. The prince and Snow White then lived a happy life. The witch became mad and in anger, she broke her mirror and never heard the mirror talk again. Moral:Selfish desire is dangerous. Do not trust strangers.

Snow-white and the seven dwarves

The celebrations of Christmas Eve start from 25th December and last till New Year. Significance: The birth of Jesus Christ is an event of utmost importance to the followers of Christianity. It is believed that God had sent his son on earth in the form of Jesus as a sacrifice to free the people from their sins. People believed that Jesus was born to save all humans from going to hell. People attend church services on Christmas day. The day is made colourful by decorations. People buy Christmas trees and decorate it with lights, flowers, garlands, stars, gifts, etc. People enjoy time with their family and friends on Christmas day. Santa Claus, a mythological figure who is believed to fulfil the wishes of the children is awaited on the night of December 24th. Children curiously wait for Santa Claus and their gifts. The main celebration of the festival starts on 24th December which is known as Christmas Eve. The celebrations continue till the New year. The festival spreads the message of Peace, Love, Harmony, and Brotherhood.&nbsp;

Christmas

There lived a bear named Winnie the Pooh. He lived with his friends in the Hundred-Acre Wood. One day, it was very windy and Winnie decided to visit his thinking spot. Whenever he wanted to think of something, he used to go to his thinking spot. The fluffy bear took all of his things and happily went to his thinking spot. He happily exclaimed that the day was very windy.Winnie quickly went to his thinking spot. After reaching there, he sat down quickly and tried to think of something. He quietly tried to think of something. He whispered to himself, “Think, Pooh, Think.” He tried very hard but could not think of anything. While he was busy thinking, Gopher, the beaver came out of the ground. The beaver said, “Why are you sitting here on a windy day? If I were you, I would have quickly gone back to my home. It’s Windsday, you know?After listening to beaver, pooh excitedly asked, “Windsday?” The pooh surprisingly looked at the beaver and an idea came to his mind. He decided to wish everyone a “Happy Windsday”. The fluffy bear quickly left his thinking spot and went to the piglet’s house.When he reached the piglet’s house, he was sweeping away the fallen leaves on a windy day. Piglet almost swept off the leaves and suddenly a huge gust of wind brought back all the leaves again. “Happy Windsday, Piglet”, pooh said with full of excitement. Another strong gust of wind blew and this time it took piglet along with the leaves. The poor piglet cried and said, “This is not a happy day for me.”&nbsp;Pooh saw piglet floating away with the wind and asked, “Where are you going piglet?”. The piglet said, “I do not know. Please Help Me, Pooh!” The pooh quickly grabbed onto a piglet scarf before he could fly out of reach. The wind was blowing so heavily that pooh also flew along with the piglet. Whenever piglet floated, pooh ran after him. Pooh and piglet went right through the rabbit’s carrot patch. They carried carrots along with them everywhere due to the wind and that made the rabbit very angry.The wind started blowing even stronger and with that, pooh and piglet were thrown at the Owl’s window. Looking at both of them, owl happily said, “What a pleasant surprise.” The Owl opened the window and invited them inside. As soon as the Owl opened the window, a strong gust of wind entered and his entire house was brought down.Everyone from the Hundred-Acre Wood came to help them but no one knew what to do. In the end Eeyore, the donkey said it’s time to look for a new house. Sadly, everyone agreed and the donkey gave the job of finding the new house to the Owl.When the night came, it was still windy. Poor pooh tried to sleep but he could not sleep. Pooh heard some strange voices and that made him uncomfortable. He decided to investigate and see who was there. He got up, opened the door and with trembling hands due to the wind, he asked, “Who’s out there?” Pooh prayed for no reply.At that very moment, pooh saw a strange-looking animal. The animal was orange in colour with black stripes all over its body. The animal said, “My name is Tiger.” Pooh said, “Oh, you scared me.” Tiger said, “Everyone is scared of Tigers.” And he laughed. Pooh curiously asked, “What is a Tiger?” tiger jumped around showing all he could and said, “I am hungry”. The pooh sadly said, “I hope not for honey.” Fortunately, the tiger hated honey. So, he left.The windy night turned into a rainy night. It rained heavily that night. The next morning, Hundred-Acre Wood was flooded with water all around. Pooh was scared that due to the water all his honey pots would go to waste. So, he decided to eat them all. But as he was licking the last pot, the water was flowing so heavily that it took pooh and his honey pot along with it.Everyone was struggling because of the flood. Piglet was also suffering in the water. The water entered his house through the window. He had no one to help him. So, poor piglet wrote a note asking for help and put it in a bottle. Then, he threw the bottle in the water. He thought someone would surely come to help him.All the people from the Hundred-Acre Wood gathered around Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin lived on a high hill and water could not reach there. He found the piglet’s note and sent Owl to find the piglet. Owl went to find a piglet. While flying he saw two objects. The two objects were Pooh the bear and the piglet. Owl shouted, “Pooh, Piglet! Christopher Robin is planning a rescue for you two.” Pooh was still stuck in his honey pot and the piglet stood firmly clinging onto a chair. They finally floated to Christopher Robin’s hill. After seeing Pooh and Piglet, Christopher said, “Pooh, you rescued Piglet! You are a hero. I must throw a Hero party for you, pooh!”Christopher threw a grand party for everyone and everyone started coming to the party. When Eeyore arrived, he announced, “I have found a new house for Owl.” Eeyore wished to show everyone Owl’s new house. Everyone followed Eeyore and to their surprise, Eeyore stopped in front of Piglet’s house. Before Pooh could say anything, Piglet gave up his house to Owl. Pooh happily said, “Piglet, you shall stay with me then.”Christopher Robin was very happy seeing the kind gesture of the Piglet. He said, “Piglet, that was a very kind gesture. So, the hero party was thrown not for one but two heroes. Pooh rescued little piglet and piglet saved Owl by giving him his home.”

Once, a beautiful girl named Cinderella used to live with her evil stepmother and two stepsisters. Her stepmother was very rude to her. She did not like Cinderella and would tell her to do every household work. The mother did not use to give any work to Cinderella’s stepsisters. Cinderella used to do every work and her stepsisters used to roam around in their expensive dresses.A letter came to their house one day which said that the king had arranged a ball in which his son, ‘The Prince’ will choose a girl as his wife, every girl in the kingdom must be aware of it. After reading the letter, everyone was excited to attend the ball. Cinderella was also excited and wanted to go to the ball. She asked for permission from her stepmother. To which her mother replied, “You can go only if you complete all the household work on time and would help your sisters to choose their dresses for the ball.” Cinderella got excited and worked as fast as she could. Unfortunately, she could not complete all the household work and stayed at home disappointed.She felt very bad and ran to the garden. She sighed, “Wishes are never fulfilled.” A voice came behind saying, “Never my dear”. Cinderella looked up and saw a little woman. The woman had a magic wand in her hand. She had a big smile on her face. The little woman was Cinderella’s fairy godmother.The Fairy wanted to help Cinderella to reach the ball. The fairy waved her wand. With that Cinderella was dressed like a princess. The fairy gave her a new dress, glass sandals, and a black horse to reach the ball. Cinderella was shocked to see this. The fairy then said that the magic will last till midnight. She told her to come back before that.With the pretty dress and black horse, Cinderella reached the palace. Everyone was shocked to see Cinderella. She looked the prettiest in the ball. She looked beautiful and different than usual. Her stepsisters were stunned and could not recognize her. When the prince saw Cinderella, he fell in love with her instantly. The prince danced with her all night. Everyone was jealous of her. The Cinderella was busy in the ball that she almost forgot what fairy had told her. While dancing when she saw the time and realized the fairy’s words, she quickly left the palace and, in all hurry, she forgot one of the glass sandals at the palace.The prince was impressed by Cinderella’s beauty and fell in love. He wanted to marry her and was curious to know where she came from. He ordered his servants to find the girl. He told them to go to every house and find the girl whose foot matched the glass sandals. The two stepsisters tried their best to insert their feet into the sandals but failed. But when Cinderella tried the sandal, her feet completely fit into it. Prince recognized Cinderella and asked to marry him. They finally got married and lived a happy life. Moral:Have courage and believe in yourself even in times of adversity.

Cinderella

A strong and beautiful mother dragon had just given birth to three little dragon babies ó Red, Blue and Green.Red was a beautiful and calm and strong dragon. Soon after she was born, she had set to learning about protecting her lands. She didn't usually get angry, but when times called, she roared and spit fire. Blue was brave and strong willed. She loved exploring new places and was a natural protector. Being fierce and intelligent, she was very good at breathing fire. It was little baby Green that her mother was very worried about. Green did not seem to be able to breathe fire at all. Non fire breathing dragons were considered to be a disgrace to the society but Green's mother did not want to abandon her. At first her mother along with her sisters tried a lot to teach Green how to produce fire. They tried and tried and tried. But nothing happened.&nbsp; Her mother was frustrated and Green was very sad. She felt very bad about herself as she thought that now all her friends and family would not like her. It got worse when she realised that some of her friends in school had stopped talking to her. One day, there was an accident on their school's bus. The driver was very heavily injured. Little dragons around her panicked and some accidently burned the bus up. But little intelligent Green stayed focused. She got everyone out of the bus and even called for an ambulance. Due to Green's quick thinking and quick arrival of the help, everyone was rescued and everyone was safe in the end. Green was treated as a hero because of how intelligent and thoughtful she was and was no longer treated as an outcast. Everyone realised that just because Green was not like them did not make her any less valued. She was still amazing! Green finally started loving herself enough and did not let her flaws come in between her abilities.

The dragon who could not spit fire!

Once upon a time, the King's two Princes were playing in a forest, and - meeting one at a time -, they came across four dwarves who asked them to be more careful. The first dwarf had a headache and he asked them not to shout. The second dwarf was painting a landscape, and he asked the children to move away because they were blocking out the light. The third dwarf was doing a giant jigsaw puzzle in the middle of the road, and he asked the children not to tread on it. The fourth dwarf was watching a butterfly and he asked them not to frighten it away.The Prince who respected others did as the dwarves asked, but the disrespectful Prince ignored the dwarves´ pleas, and kept bothering them. In the evening, both boys had become separated and lost. They needed to get back to the palace quickly.Each of them separately came across the four dwarves again, and asked for their help. They refused to help the disrespectful Prince, but with the respectful Prince they did whatever they could to help, and took him along some secret tracks which led right to the palace.The other Prince arrived much later, and was punished for it. He now understood that it's much better to respect everyone if you want to have friends. Moral:Respect everyone regardless of age, authority, caste and creed.
