He told them that the thief’s stick would grow two inches by the next day.The next day, Birbal summoned the servants again. He noticed that a servant’s stick was two inches shorter than the others.He knew who the thief was.The foolish thief had cut the stick shorter by two inches as he thought it would grow two inches. Thus, proving his guilt.Moral of the story: Truth and justice will always prevail. <h3>4. But keep falling back.Soon, one of the two frogs started to believe the other frogs — that they’ll never be able to escape the pit and eventually died after giving up.The other frog keeps trying and eventually jumps so high that he escapes the pit. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it.The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouragement of the group. There was once a teacher who gave his pupils some seeds so they could plant, and look after, their very own sunflower. One boy in the class, who loved sunflower seeds, was so excited that he planted the seed and looked after it with great care for many days.When the first shoot finally appeared, the boy, filled with impatience, went to see his teacher.-"Can I uproot it yet?" he asked, anxiously. The teacher answered that he would still have to tend the plant for quite some time before he would be able to collect many seeds from just one sunflower. The boy was disappointed, but he kept on looking after his sunflower.However, he grew increasingly impatient, and did little else but pester his teacher about wanting to take out the plant. Despite the teacher asking him to be patient, as soon as the boy saw the sunflower's first seeds, he cut the plant so he could eat them. But the plant was still green, the seeds were not ripe, and of course they couldn't be eaten.The boy was devastated: He had put so much effort into caring for the sunflower, but in the end he had squandered it all for a simple lack of patience. And he was even angrier when he saw how enormous his classmates' sunflowers grew. Ultimately, he resolved not to be so impatient in the future, and to listen to his teacher. Fortunately, he wasn't completely out of luck, and his friends were good enough to share their delicious sunflower seeds with him.Moral: Patience is the key to success.

Sunflower which did not grow

There was once a little grey planet that was very sad. The people living there hadn't looked after it, despite them having all the inventions and space ships you could ever need. They had contaminated the whole countryside so much with rubbish and pollution that there were no plants or animals left.One day, a little boy was walking on the planet, when he passed a cave and noticed a small red flower inside. The flower was very sick - almost dying - so the boy carefully dug up the flower, with roots, soil and everything. Then, he started looking for a place where he could look after it. He searched all over the planet, but everywhere was so contaminated that there was no place the flower could possibly live in. Then he looked up at the sky and noticed the moon. It seemed to the boy that maybe the plant could survive there.So the little boy put on his astronaut suit, and climbed into a space ship. He put the little red flower in the back, and off they went to the moon.Far away from all that pollution - and with the boy visiting it every day to tend it - the flower started to grow. The flower was so well cared for, that it had soon germinated, giving birth to others, and these other flowers spread onto other flowers. Before long, the whole moon was completely covered with flowers.That's why, whenever the little boy's flowers open up, for a few minutes the moon takes on a soft red sheen, like a warning light. Maybe it's telling us that if you don't look after your planet, a day will come when flowers will only be able to grow on the moon. Moral:Earth is the only planet we have. We keep earth happy, earth keeps us happy in turn. Save environment.

The Red Moon

Once upon a time there were two friends who lived in a palace with their families, who worked in service of the King. One of these boys knew a girl he liked so much that he wanted to give her a present.One day, he was walking with his friend in the main palace hall, and he saw a big vase filled with the loveliest flowers you could imagine. He decided to take one to give to the girl, thinking that no one would see him do so. He did the same thing the next day, and the next, and the next... until, one day, the King noticed how few flowers were left in the vase. He was so angry that he called everyone in the palace to assemble.When they were all before the King, the boy thought he should say it had been him who took the flowers. However, his friend told him to be quiet, because the King would be terribly angry with him. The boy was paralysed with fear, but when the King came near he decided to confess.As soon as the boy said that he had done it, the King went red with anger, but on hearing what the boy had done with the flowers, a smile appeared on the King's face, and he said,"I couldn't have thought of a better use for my flowers."And, from that day, the boy and the King became great friends. A flower a day

Once, there lived a water bearer (one who carries water) in a beautiful town. The water bearer had 2 large pots, in which, he used to fill the water from the stream and deliver it to his master’s house. One of the pots that he had was cracked. So every day while returning from the stream, the cracked would lose half the water and would only be able to provide half water at the master’s house. Whereas the perfect pot was very proud of himself for doing its work perfectly.The cracked pot would lose water every day and this went on for 2 years. One day, the cracked pot felt ashamed about itself and apologised to its water bearer saying, “I am sorry for not being able to deliver full water. Because of me, you do not get credits for your efforts.”&nbsp;The water bearer felt sorry for the pot and told him, “While we return back from the stream today, look at the beautiful and colourful flowers along the path.” So that day, while returning, the cracked pot admired the flowers and the flowers cheered him up. But when they reached at the master’s house, it still felt sad for losing the water and so apologised again.&nbsp;The bearer then told the pot, “I have known about your crack since day one and so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path. Every day, for 2 years, you have been watering these flowers. Because of you, I was able to pick beautiful flowers and decorate my master’s table. If you did not water the flowers, my master would never have a beautiful table.” On hearing this, the cracked pot was filled with joy and understood that everyone has flaws. If we can accept our flaws and still do better in lives, they do not really better. Moral:Every person has unique flaws.&nbsp;We’re all cracked pots.&nbsp;Nothing in this world is a waste.&nbsp;We should never feel useless because of our flaws. Sometimes these flaws are a blessing in disguise.
