He had asked the old man multiple times to be his Chief Advisor but due to his old age and depleting health, the old man had refused.&nbsp;The Prince asked, “How are you so wise? How do you always find such peace? There are so many ministers around me filled with hatred and envy. How would I someday run my Kingdom when I am surrounded by such people? How do you be so content?.”“It is all due to this pomegranate tree, your Highness. It fills me with such calm.”“I must suggest to my ministers that they plant a pomegranate orchard, so that they too will grow wiser,” said the Prince.As they parted ways, the old man gave the Prince a branch of the tree.&nbsp;"Thank you," said the Prince. "I will give this branch to my gardener, and have him plant it in my garden."“Your Highness, if you wish the tree to help you, you must plant it yourself and take care of it. He cannot stop talking about it on the entire ride. They reach the farm and park their car. Ajay is instantly surrounded by the smell of chikoos.There is a farmhouse where they freshen up first. He tells his parents to hurry. There are chikoo trees everywhere in the farm. The canopy is so thick that light barely reaches the ground.There are some fallen chikoo and men collecting the good chikoo. The chikoo will be packed and sent to the market. Ajay’s father plucks a chikoo from the tree and gives it to Ajay after removing the seed.Ajay tastes the sweet fruit for the first time and he loves it. He spends the entire day on the farm with his parents and has a lot of fun.

Once upon a time, there was a girl who thought her life was miserable. She did not know what was going on in her life. She was tired of struggling and fighting all the time. She was tired of dealing with all her problems. One day, she complained about her struggle to her father. Her father was a chef; he took her to the kitchen. He placed three pots filled with water on high fire.Once the water started boiling, he placed a potato in the first pot, egg and ground coffee beans in the second and third pot respectively. He then waited for the water to boil. Her daughter impatiently waited wondering what her father was doing. After twenty minutes, he took out potato and egg out of the pot and placed them in different plates. He placed the water with the coffee beans in a cup.He then asked her daughter what she noticed. She replied, “A potato, egg and coffee beans.” Her father told her to look closer and touch the potato. She did and noticed that they were soft. He then asked her to break the egg. She saw the boiled egg after pulling off the shell of the egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee from the cup. The rich aroma of the coffee brought smile on her face.Then, she asked to her father the reason behind doing this activity. He replied that the potato, egg and coffee beans each faced the same problem- the boiling water. However, each reacted differently. The potato went in strong and hard but in boiling water it became soft and weak. The egg was weak with a thin layer protecting its liquid until it entered the boiling water. After, keeping it into the boiling water, the inside of the egg became strong. However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were put into the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.Her father then asked her, “Which one are you? How do you respond in your difficult times? Are you a potato, egg, or a coffee bean? Moral:In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is how you choose to react to it and what you make out of it. Life is all about leaning, adopting and converting all the struggles that we experience into something positive.

The next day Mrs. Smith gave Sarah a special book to read. The book was called, “Fluffy.” Sarah loved to read and loved kittens too. Fluffy was a kitten.When Sarah got home from school that day, she ran to her mom, kissed her, and said, “Mom, look. Mrs. Smith gave me a special book to read. It is about a kitten named Fluffy.”“That’s nice, dear. Why don’t you read a bit before dinner?” asked her mom. Sarah washed her hands and sat at the kitchen table to read. After reading for a few minutes, Sarah said, “Oh, poor Fluffy can’t climb a tree because her paws hurt.”Then Sarah said, “Poor Fluffy can’t bend, twirl, or dance because her paws hurt.” Sarah closed her book. It looks a little tough but Tim figures that he can still give it a try. He goes with his grandfather to purchase the ingredients. They buy milk, eggs, flour and chocolate. When he returns home, Tim is very excited and so he runs to the kitchen with the ingredients.&nbsp; His mother says, “Slow down or else you will end up dropping everything.” He is embarrassed and smiles a little but then quickly gets to work. He dries the utensils that his mother washed and cleans them.&nbsp; Then he carefully listens as his mother instructs him.&nbsp; He measures and pours the flour, milk, sugar, eggs, and chocolate.Then when all the ingredients are mixed and the cake is put in the oven, Tim dances around the house, excitedly looking at the clock and waiting for his father to come home.&nbsp; When he does, Tim excitedly rushes to the kitchen to grab the cake that is now made. In his hurry, he forgot that the vessel was still hot and flinched at the touch. Tim dropped the cake. His mother immediately moved to help him and everyone fussed around to secure Tim. He felt very bad for not being able to do something good but his father looked at him and smiled. He said, “Thank you, son. Making this must have taken a lot of hard work. I am proud of you!” Tim shook his head and said, “But I dropped it and ruined it in the end.” His father laughed and said, “That is alright. It is not the gift, but the thought and emotions put into one that counts.”

Go to sleep now.” El frowns but does as she is told. El snuggles into the covers and goes to sleep. She wakes up to the sound of birds chirping. Like every morning she wants to dig deeper into her bed and not wake up but this time she can smell the cakes and sweets everywhere.&nbsp; El immediately jolts out of her bed as she realises this and looks around only to realise that she was not in her bed. She is not even in her room! El was a brave girl so she didn’t immediately panic. She looked around her to see green, sprawling meadows with flowers and wild plants littered around. As she went closer she realised that they were not little flowers, they were pastries! Her mouth watered as she saw tiny cakes of different colours. There were little candies and chocolates hanging from trees. Rainbow coloured water flows in streams and the wind in her hair smelled of sweets. El looked around bewildered. “Is this real?” She pinched herself. A small melodic sound of someone laughing filled the air. She looked around to find a small blue pixie. El pinched herself again. “Oh God, are you real?” The pixie laughed again. “Yes, dear El. I am very real.”El narrowed her eyes, “How do you know my name?” “I know everything.” The pixie answered coyly. “The question that you should be asking is why are you here.” “Why am I here?” El parrotted.&nbsp; “You are here to get whatever you want and take it home. El’s eyes widened. “What?” “Yes. You heard correct.” El was amazed. She immediately began looking around and gathering treats. When she was done, the pixie finally spoke. “You can take this all, dear, and then some more but on one condition only.” “What?” El asked. “Only if you listen to your mother.” El eagerly agreed. The pixie promised to get her even more treats.&nbsp; That was when El woke up with a jolt. She was disappointed that this was all just a dream.&nbsp; But then she looked around her and there were baskets of cakes and chocolates and sweets and ice-creams. El was amazed.&nbsp;She rushed out of her room to tell her mother about what happened.&nbsp;
