Once upon a time there was an old man with a huge orchard. He had a beautiful pomegranate tree there.&nbsp;He was loved in the entire kingdom because of his helpful nature and his wonderful advice.&nbsp;The Prince once visited his orchard to meet the old man. His coronation as a King was coming near and this made him a little anxious. He had asked the old man multiple times to be his Chief Advisor but due to his old age and depleting health, the old man had refused.&nbsp;The Prince asked, “How are you so wise? How do you always find such peace? There are so many ministers around me filled with hatred and envy. How would I someday run my Kingdom when I am surrounded by such people? How do you be so content?.”“It is all due to this pomegranate tree, your Highness. It fills me with such calm.”“I must suggest to my ministers that they plant a pomegranate orchard, so that they too will grow wiser,” said the Prince.As they parted ways, the old man gave the Prince a branch of the tree.&nbsp;"Thank you," said the Prince. "I will give this branch to my gardener, and have him plant it in my garden."“Your Highness, if you wish the tree to help you, you must plant it yourself and take care of it. The pomegranate is a delicate tree. It requires a lot of nurturing. In winter it must be covered and you must pour more soil around it. The warmer the tree is in winter, the more delicious and curative are its fruits. Pomegranate can cure several illnesses quickly. Broth made from pomegranate's bark strengthen the gums, a glass of pomegranate juice taken every day for a month dissolves kidney stones.”The Prince nodded and the old man continued, “Similarly, to run a Kingdom you must understand its needs. You must nurture it like your own child, shield it during storms and only then can you reap success.”Moral:To be successful at something, patience, hard-work, and dedication are the most important.

An old man and a pomegranate tree

It has been years since Ajay’s parents revisited their childhood home. This is the first time they are taking five year old Ajay to see a chikoo farm.Ajay is very excited. He cannot stop talking about it on the entire ride. They reach the farm and park their car. Ajay is instantly surrounded by the smell of chikoos.There is a farmhouse where they freshen up first. He tells his parents to hurry. There are chikoo trees everywhere in the farm. The canopy is so thick that light barely reaches the ground.There are some fallen chikoo and men collecting the good chikoo. The chikoo will be packed and sent to the market. Ajay’s father plucks a chikoo from the tree and gives it to Ajay after removing the seed.Ajay tastes the sweet fruit for the first time and he loves it. He spends the entire day on the farm with his parents and has a lot of fun.

શહેનશાહ અકબરે એક દિવસ બઘા દરબારીઓ માટે ભોજન રાખ્યુ, બીરબલ પર તેમને વિશેષ પ્રેમ હતો આથી તેઓ તેને આગ્રહ કરી-કરીને જમાડી રહ્યા હતા. બીરબલ ખાઈ ખાઈને હેરાન થઈ ગયો આથી તેને શહેનશાહ જોડે માફી માગી અને કહ્યું કે. "મારા પેટમાં જગ્યા ન હોવાથી હવે હું નહિ ખાઈ શકુ, તમારી આજ્ઞા માની નહી શકુ." એટલામાં જ એક સેવક કેરી કાપીને લાવ્યો, બીરબલનું મન કેરી જોઈને લલચાયું. બીરબલે પોતાનો હાથ લંબાવીને, કેરીની થોડી ચીરીઓ પેટમાં ઉતારી લીધી. તેને આ રીતે કેરી ખાતો જોઈને અકબરને ગુસ્સો આવ્યો કે હું પ્રેમથી જમાડતો હતો ત્યારે આના પેટમાં જગ્યા નહોતી અને હવે કેવી રીતે ખવાઈ રહી છે. તેમણે તરતજ ગુસ્સામાં બૂમ પાડીને બીરબલને બોલાવ્યો. બીરબલ સમજી ગયો એમના ક્રોઘનું કારણ. તે અકબરની સામે જઈને ઉભો રહ્યો અને હાથ જોડીને બોલ્યો "જ્યારે રસ્તા પર ખૂબ ભીડ હોય છે, અને ચાલવા માટે એક પગ મૂકવા જેટલી પણ જગ્યા નથી હોતી ત્યારે જો તમારી સવારી નીકળે તો તેવી પરિસ્થિતિમાં પણ બઘાએ પોતાની મેળે જગ્યા બનાવીને તમને રસ્તો આપવો પડે છે. તેવી જ રીતે કેરી પણ બધા ફળો પર રાજ કરે છે તે પણ તમારી જેમ જ ફળોનો રાજા છે તેથી તેને જોઈને પેટમાં જગ્યા બની જ જાય છે". તેનો જવાબ સાંભળી અકબર ખુશ થઈ ગયા, તેમણે મીઠી કેરીની એક ટોપલી મંગાવી અને એક કિંમતી ભેટની સાથે તે ટોપલી બીરબલને આપી. બીરબલ આ મીઠી ભેટ મેળવીને ઘણો ખુશ થઈ ગયો.

ફળોનો રાજા

Once upon a time there was a mango tree who grew a mango who&nbsp;was very proud of himself. The mangoís only problem was that he grew next to an ugly almond tree with ugly almonds. So every day, the mango would insult the almond seeds on his looks and their taste. All the other plants tried to make the mango stop harassing the almond but he never listened. One summer, well dried up. The sun was scorching and the heat was merciless. It went on for days and the mangoes got bad. It was there to bloom but due to excessive heat they ripened up too quick and fell from the tree. The almond seeds held just fine and survived. Moral:Do not judge someone by the way they look.

The proud mango

Inside a fruit bowl there were many fruits of all shapes and sizes. From yellow bananas to pink strawberries. There were apples, grapes, cherries, oranges, mangoes and peaches.They were all raised in the same bowl and were very good friends. But soon the day came when they had to find their own homes and what they wanted to do in their lives.The orange decided that he wanted to help in making an orange juice, the cherries wanted to be toppings on sweets, the peaches wanted to be used in body washes, the grapes decided that they wanted to make wine, the bananas wanted to make bread and the strawberries wanted to just be pretty. Mangoes did not have to do anything because they were the Kings.The apple was really conflicted. What was he meant to do? What was his goal in life? What was his calling? He wondered if he would ever find out.He went to the factory to be a juice, but he was very scared. He went to the farm to give his seeds but they didn’t need it. He went to the shop to get sold to a human but they would just skip past him. He went to the candy maker to become a candy but they refused.The apple was very worried. What would happen to him now?In the end he went to an artist to create a still life drawing but he had to stay still which he couldn’t do it.Disheartened, he returned to the fruit bowl.There he was surprised to see his friends. Why were they here? Had they not found their place?The banana said, “They said my butt was too spoiled to be used in a pie. There were lots of oranges and they did not need this one to make juice.The grapes were back because only seedless grapes can be used to make wine. The peaches were refused too. There is no use for any of us. What will we do now?”All the fruits panicked together. What will happen now? What about their future?The strawberries rolled their eyes and finally the mango spoke up to give them some wisdom, “Shut up you fools and sit down quietly in the bowl.You will be just fine. The mother will force her children to eat you sooner or later. Stop worrying.”

A very mischievous crocodile was getting bored and decided to do something to pass time. He saw an elephant approaching towards the river and decided to pull him and have a little fun.It was a hot summer afternoon, and the elephant was very tired and thirsty. He went ahead, drank some water and splashed some on his back to relieve himself from the heat. Meanwhile, he noticed that the crocodile has grabbed his leg and is trying to pull him. Though the intention of the crocodile was to have fun, it was hurting the elephant and he started screaming for help. Just above the river bank, lived a monkey on a branch of a tree. He was watching the entire scenario happening. He could see that the elephant was in pain, so thought of helping him.He threw a big mango towards the river so that the crocodileís mind gets diverted. The crocodile always wished to taste a mango as it could not climb the tree, swam and grabbed the mango in his mouth. The elephant got relieved and ran as fast as possible. This way the monkey rescued the terrified elephant.

The Mischievous Crocodile

Once there was a rich merchant with vast lands. He had a hobby of gardening and grew many types of exotic plants in his yard. From tropical spices to middle eastern dry fruits. He had everything from pistachio nuts to rose bushes to creeping pumpkins.&nbsp; But one tree stood out from them all- his Jamun tree. The Jamun tree was very tall and grew luscious Jamun fruits. The cashew nuts were jealous of them because of their taste, the apples were jealous of them because of how pretty jamun were. The peach tree was angry because of how tall the Jamun tree was.&nbsp; They would always harass the Jamun tree for being so abnormally tall. The Jamun tree never said a word. He minded his own business and took care of his own fruits.&nbsp; One day, the merchant’s cook burned something in the kitchen and a fire started. Everybody started panicking but the merchant immediately called for a fire brigade. The smoke wafted through the windows and into the garden. All the small shrubs and plants could not breathe. They coughed and struggled for air but the tall Jamun tree was happy and fine. Moral: Never judge a book by its cover. Everyone is special and unique in their own way.

The merchant and his trees

One day all the fruits and vegetables decided to have a separate meeting after an argument with each other.In the vegetables’ meeting, Rudy the bottle-gourd said, “No one likes us vegetables. The fruits take all the attention with how tasty they are.”Ed the Cabbage agreed, “Yes, you are right. Things must change.” The radish and cauliflower agreed and the vegetables decided to make changes.Meanwhile for the fruits, Chick the Chikoo and Ben the papaya lead their own meeting. They decided that the vegetables were getting more respect due to their nutritional values. They decided to confront the vegetables.They all met up at the kitchen counter and confessed their problems with each other. Cale the cauliflower said, “ You fruits are so colourful, tasty and sweet. Everyone loves you!”Ben the papaya argued, “No! Everyone likes you better because you are full of vitamins.”They continued arguing back and forth until a wise ant finally stepped in and said, “Stop fighting guys! You are all equally important and yummy. The world would not survive without either of you.”After much convincing, the fruits and vegetables finally stopped fighting. The ant cunningly said, “The one you should be fighting is the snacks.”And the arguments began all over again. Moral:Everyone and everything has its own significance. There should not be any comparison between anyone and anything.

Reggie Mouse loved cheese. He ate cheese for breakfast, cheese for lunch, and cheese for dinner. He never ate anything else.Reggie’s mom, Rita Mouse, always told him, “Reggie, it is fine to eat cheese, but you should also eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, cereal, breads, chicken, and fish, too.”Reggie Mouse would smile and say, “No way, Mom, I will only eat cheese and nothing else.”One day as Reggie Mouse got dressed, all the buttons on his shirt went, “Pop, Pop, Pop.” “Oh, no, my shirt has “SHRUNK!” cried Reggie Mouse. And as Reggie Mouse put on a pair of his pants, “Rip, Rip, Rip,” went the pants. “Oh, no, my pants have “SHRUNK!” too, cried Reggie Mouse.Reggie Mouse then ran to his closet and tried on all of his clothes. “Pop, Pop, Pop” went all the buttons on all of his shirts. “Rip, Rip, Rip,” went all of his pants. Reggie Mouse cried and cried and said, “Oh, no, all of my clothes have ‘SHRUNK! What can I do?”Rita Mouse heard her son crying and quickly walked into his bedroom and asked, “Reggie, why are you crying and why are all your clothes on the floor?”“Oh, Mom, it’s awful, my clothes have all “SHRUNK,” cried Reggie Mouse in his saddest voice.“Hmmmm, all your clothes have ‘SHRUNK’? I think I know what we can do to ‘Un-Shrink’ them,” she said.“Reggie, if you want to ‘Un-Shrink’ your clothes you must stop eating cheese and begin eating healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, cereal, breads, fish, and chicken."That night Reggie Mouse ate chicken, carrots, spinach, and grapes for dinner. And in a very short time by eating healthy foods, Reggie’s clothes “UN-SHRUNK!”Moral: A healthy diet and routine exercise is very important.
