1 result(s) of how good is my newborn baby’s vision
Your baby’s vision improves dramatically over the first year. At birth, your baby can detect light and motion. Later they distinguish faces and large shapes. By the end of the first month, your baby can make eye contact and focus on objects about 12 inches away. By 3 to 4 months they can distinguish between colours. They can now focus on smaller objects up to 3 feet away. At 12 months your baby has a pretty clear sight.
Note: Consult an ophthalmologist (an eye doctor): If your child has a problem in moving one or both eyes in any direction by the time (s)he is 4.
