There was a boy named Mike. He was 11 years old and lived with his parents. He was the only child to his parents. Mike’s mother was a housewife and his father worked as a carpenter. They all lived a happy life. Mike’s family was not a rich one but they all lived happily.Mike’s school was located a mile away from his home. He wanted a bicycle for his birthday so that he could go to school by cycle. With a bicycle, he no longer had to wait for his father to drop him or walk for half a mile. His father promised him to buy a bicycle so that he could go to his school easily. Mike was very excited to receive a bicycle on his birthday.He woke up happily and went to his parents. His parents happily wished him with all smiles. Mike expected that he would get a bicycle on his birthday but instead, he saw a beautiful gift wrapped in his father’s hand. He was quite surprised. His father gave him the gift. Mike unwrapped the gift and saw a set of books in it. Mike felt a little bad that he did not get a bicycle but he thanked his father all the same. Mike’s father was a little sad as he could not gift a bicycle to his son. But he promised Mike that he would soon buy him a cycle.One day, while Mike was walking back home from the park, he saw a boy riding a cycle. The bicycle was very small for the boy. Suddenly, the boy slipped on the road. Mike went towards the boy to see him. The boy was Mike’s school mate, Sam. He was hurt very badly.Mike helped Sam and gave him some water. Sam was injured very badly as he was riding his bicycle very fast. Mike asked Sam to sit in a corner and took his cycle to get help from a nearby hospital.An ambulance came and carried Sam to the hospital. He then rushed to Sam’s home and informed about the accident to his parents. They all rushed to the hospital. Sam’s parents thanked Mike for the timely help. Mike told them that it was all possible because of the cycle. Mike also told that the cycle was too small for Sam and that was the reason he fell off from it.Every day, Mike went to see Sam in the hospital. He visited him until he was discharged. They both became best friends. Sam’s father bought a new bicycle for him as the cycle he had was very small. Sam came to know that the Mike did not have a bicycle so he decided to gift his old bicycle to him.Sam gave his old bicycle to Mike. Mike took his parent’s permission and he accepted his gift. He was very happy to receive a bicycle. MORAL:Helping others will help you for sure.

There are many vehicles around that are used for transport. Each vehicle has a different use and a different speciality.First, let's meet Cal the bike. Cal is a motorbike. He is very strong and has two wheels. He moves very fast and can easily travel through busy, crowded streets. He is beautiful and black in colour.Next comes Bud the car. Bud is an old car. She has four wheels and is very long. She was created for a very old King and even though she is not as strong as the cars built now, Bud moves perfectly. Bud is white in colour and is very spacious.Casey is a cycle. Casey is tiny but very strong. She has two wheels and works on pedals. The cyclist has to work hard for the cycle to move fast. Casey the cycle is eco- friendly and is a good way to exercise. We should all use cycle.Aero the aeroplane is extremely huge. He can fly high above the clouds and can carry many people. Aero moves faster than the birds and is very strong. We use aeroplanes to travel long distances in a short time.Hayley the helicopter is a very fast mode of transport. A helicopter can fly too but is tinier in comparison to a plane. It can carry very few people and can be used for small distances and abrupt landings.Triv the train can carry a lot of people. It can travel short distances and long too. Travelling in a train is a lot of fun. Some trains are very fast, some are slow. Some trains carry people while others carry materials.Sally the ship is a very mighty boat. She is huge and sails in the sea. She can carry a lot of people but is mostly used for carrying materials.These are some vehicles of transport.

Different modes of transport

Tina lives with her parents in a peaceful countryside manor. Her parents are scientists with many awards in their names.Tina also wants to be a scientist. Tina’s parents set up equipment for her in their garage where she constantly invents new things. She can build roller coasters and flying cars. Her parents are very proud of her.One day at school, she injures her hand in the playground right before her english test.&nbsp;Now, she is not able to write her test.Tina is disappointed now. She wished that there was a pencil that could write everything that you said to it by itself. That way she could give her test even with her injured hand.She decides to make that pencil. She goes to her garage and starts making formulas. Tina does her intelligent people thing and works the entire night. Her parents sternly put her to sleep and tell her that she can work tomorrow. They kiss her goodnight and she goes to sleep.Tina wakes up the next morning and its weekend so she can work on her pencil.After a few days of hardwork the pencil is built. Her parents are a little worried for her as she is constantly working but she assures them that she is fine.She realises that the pencil she built can write things not just by listening but can also read everyone’s thoughts.She is surprised. She really is a genius.She gets many awards for this brilliant invention and Tina becomes one of the youngest and the most successful scientists in the world.

Tina’s garage

In a schoolyard, there were many bright, shiny new buses lined in a row. The buses would leave the schoolyard early morning to pick up the children for school. Children enjoyed in buses and happily travelled on the buses. In the afternoon, the buses would take them back to their homes.In the schoolyard, at the back, there was an old school bus that was hardly noticeable. The bus looked very old and was no longer shiny and bright. No driver was ready to ride that bus because it looked ugly. So, every morning the old bus sat there and watched as the other buses left to pick up the children. The bus left very bad that it did not go to pick the children as other buses did.One day, one of the bright, shiny buses would not start. The mechanic informed the principal that the bus was broken. It would take a few days to repair it. The principal was worried about how the children would reach school.The bus driver, Herb, spotted the old bus at the back in the schoolyard. The bus driver questioned, “Hey, how about if I try this old bus?” The principal wanted to provide transportation for the kids anyhow. So, he agreed. The driver quickly filled the fuel in the old bus and tried to start the bus. The bus chocked, coughed and sputtered. After some time, the bus finally started. The old bus shook as its engine came to life.Herb took the old bus out of the schoolyard to pick up the children. The driver was happy that the bus got started. He loved taking the kids for the school. He had been doing it since he retired from the factory. He liked his job. Herb had been pretty lonely since his wife passed away. He loved his job because the job kept him busy and made him feel better.First Herb picked up the little boy who lived on the East Street. Herb liked him, he always made people laugh. The boy entered the bus and said, “OH! The old bus is finally out of the schoolyard.” Herb laughed.Next, the old bus and Herb picked up a boy who lived on the Seventh Street. He was well mannered and behaved nicely with everyone. When he entered the bus, he said ‘Hello’ to everyone and everyone liked him. The driver then took off to pick other children. They picked the sisters from the Oak Street.Then, they went to pick another girl. Herb stopped the bus for the little girl. The girl used a wheelchair so Herb got out of the bus and picked up the girl on the bus. Herb put the wheelchair beside her carefully. The little girl’s name was Becky and she felt very embarrassed. She always felt that she was different. Herb tried to make her feel better. He said, “Each one of us is different in our way.” Becky said sadly, “You are not different.” To which Herb smiled and said, “Yes, I am. You see, every morning, I get up and brush my teeth and then I put them in my mouth.” He clacked his dentures together to demonstrate for her. Becky laughed out loud. She felt comfortable with Herb.The old school bus felt very good and proud to be carrying the children again. The bus felt very good when the children laughed and talked to each other. The bus did not care that it was not bright and shiny anymore. The bus was happy to carry the children again. The bus wished that it could carry children every day.Herb carried the children back to their homes in the evening. For the rest of the days, the old school bus and Herb carried the children to school and then dropped them back to their homes. Herb and the school bus both were very happy.The principal got a call from the school-board saying that they had hired a new driver for the bus. The Principal asked about Herb and they replied that it was time for Herb to retire. The principal did not want to fire Herb, and he did not think that Herb would want to retire. The principal got an idea. He went to meet Herb the next day.He conveyed the message to Herb. He was very shocked and surprised when he heard about the new driver. He said, “I guess that means I am fired.” The Principal said but we can do one thing. He said, “We are going to fix this old bus and convert it so that the handicapped children can get on and off easily. Would you drive this bus?” Herb’s eyes sparkled with joy and he gave the principal a big smile. He said, “Yes, sir. I will!”The old bus was repaired and made into a new one. Herb was happy to see the bus. He took out the bus from the schoolyard on the first run. It looked beautiful. Herb took the bus and went to pick up the children.This time, Becky got onto the bus easily because of the new facility. Herb lowered the special new chair lift and she easily entered the bus. Becky was very happy as she could enter the bus onto her own. She smiled happily.The old bus and Herb were also very happy. Herb drew the bus for a long time and he also never felt lonely because of the bus. Moral:All of us are unique in our own little ways. We should try to overcome our problems with the support of our loved ones.

The Lonely School Bus

Once upon a time, there lived jackal whose name was Jijo. One day, Jijo went to the fair with his friend Fredo, the fox. They loved the place and enjoyed various rides. They ate a lot of ice cream and fried snacks. They spent their entire day having fun at the fair.Jijo loved motorbikes and wanted to have one. He told his father to get him a motorbike. His father thought that he was very small to ride a motorbike. So, he told him to use a bicycle for now. Jijo thought he was old enough to use a bike. But all he had was an old bicycle. He really wanted to ride the motorbike so he decided to ask for a bike to his father again.He went to his father one day and said, “Dad, I know how to ride a bike and I want the bike. Please buy one for me.” His father replied, “Son, riding a bike takes a lot of responsibility. Will you be able to take care of your bike? You have to assure me that you will follow all the rules and will drive safely.” Jijo said, “Yes, Dad, I promise!” His father had some more conditions. He said, “I will give you money for just four litres of fuel every month. You will use the bike only to do important things. You should always inform us before using the bike and you must learn all the important traffic rules.”After hearing all the conditions, Jijo was a little shocked but as his father agreed to buy him a bike so he said ‘Yes’.The next month, Jijo’s father got him a new bike. Jijo was busted with joy. He was overwhelmed to receive a bike. He would make different excuses to ride the bike. He wanted to ride the bike every day but as he was allowed only four litres of fuel in a month, he could not ride very far. His friends also wanted to ride his bike. But Jijo could not do a lot of things due to the conditions put by his father. He felt restricted due to the conditions.One day, Jijo’s friend, Fredo, the fox came to visit him. Fredo was impressed by his bike. He said, “Jijo, you know there is a fair being held on the outskirt of the forest. Why don’t we go there on your bike?” Jijo wanted to go but there was hardly any fuel left in the bike and he did not have money to buy more fuel. Fredo said, “Ask your mother. She might have some task for you to complete and using that as an excuse, we can go to the fair and have some fun.” Jijo went to his mother and informed his mother that they were going to market to buy some fruits. His mom agreed and the two set off for the fair.Jijo and Fredo enjoyed the bike ride and reached the fair. They spent their entire day at the fair and enjoyed different rides, ate ice-creams, and a lot of fried snacks. They had a great time together at the fair.As it started getting dark, they decided to go home. They took the bike and went back to their home. In the middle, their bike suddenly stopped. They had only travelled a small distance and they had a long-distance to cover in order to reach home. When Jijo checked the fuel tank of the bike, it was empty. Jijo got worried and asked, “How will we go home, now?” Fredo had an idea, he said, “We can do one thing. You sit on the bike and I will push it from behind. After some time, I will sit on the bike and you push. This way, we will reach home.” Jijo agreed and they both took turns and tried to push the bike. Somehow, they reached home late at night. They both were very tired. Jijo was very upset as it was very difficult for them to reach back home. He said to himself, “My old bicycle was so much better. It looks worn out but it never stopped working. It was good for my health too.”Jijo understood the value of his old bicycle. After that day, he decided to ride his bicycle every day and used his motorbike only when he needed to.

A man was polishing his new car; his 4 yr old daughter picked up a stone and scratched on the side of the car.In anger, the furious man took his child’s hand &amp; hit it many times, not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all her fingers due to multiple fractures.When the child saw her father, with painful eyes she asked ‘Dad when will my fingers grow back?’ The man was very hurt and speechless.He went back to the car and kicked it many times. Devastated by his own actions, sitting in front of the car he looked at the scratches, his daughter had written ‘LOVE YOU DAD’.Moral: Anger and Love have no limit. Things are to be used and people are to be loved.

Who or What do We Love More?

Krishna’s childhood was filled with adventurous stories. Though filled with joy, each episode of his childhood shows one spiritual dimension or the other.Gokula was a land with pure cowherds (a person who tends to cows), the men were named 'Gopalas' and the girls were called 'Gopis'. Krishna was about three months old when his mother brought him to the place where people gathered for a festival with their relatives.Yashoda and other people had to prepare the afternoon meal and she left the sleeping child in the shade of a bullock cart. The food was consumed, people were busy with the music. Krishna woke up to the sounds of music while sleeping soundly.Playfully, wanting to join the party, the kid began to move his feet to the beat and pushed the cart's wheel. The cart fell with a thud, and everyone was surprised by the sound, and they ran to the place hoping for the worst. Together they raised the collapsed cart and were overjoyed to see the boy, appearing as happy as ever, and completely unharmed by the crash.&nbsp;That was indeed the first confirmation of his heavenly abilities, but this fact was not known by everyone around at that moment, but rather played off as a miraculous escape.

Bub was born in the bubble soap liquid along with his brothers and sisters. He had always waited to be set free in the real world and enjoy with his friends.His dream came true when a human blew from the bubble soap. Soon Bub and his friends were set free in the wild, wild world. Bub was very excited to see the world for the first time.His friends were equally excited too. Bub flew over a tree and met beautiful birds. The tree waved at him.He flew over a river and the river smiled at him. The fish came up to meet him. Bub was delighted. Bub almost crashed into a car as he flew near to the ground but the car driver put Bub’s safety first.Bub got chased by a cat and their screaming never stopped. He was so scared for his life but he escaped. Then Bub flew high above the ground and could see kids in the ferris wheel, they excitedly blew at him so he could go further.Bub smiled.He was so high above the ground and he had the best day ever. The sun welcomed him as he went higher.Bub had an amazing day. He saw the world, he made people happy, he made some new friends, lost some old ones along the way but he had a lot of fun.

Diya went on a train for the first time when she was four years old. She was going with her grandmother to her uncle’s house.It was a very long journey and Diya was very excited for it.Firstly, they reached the railway station half an hour before our train. It was a good idea because railway stations are very crowded. It took Diya and her grandmother a long time to get to our platform because they had too many bags.There were so many people. Some people who travelled daily, some tourists, vendors, railway staff.They bought hot tea and drank it. When their train arrived at the stop they moved a little back. Diya was seeing a train from so close for the first time.&nbsp;It was very huge and long.Then they settled into their seats and placed their bags. Diya was very excited for the journey to begin.Soon, the train started moving and picked up speed. She played lots of games with her grandmother and watched the scenery go. She looked out of the window the entire time.Soon the journey ended and she loved every bit of it.
