He told them that the thief’s stick would grow two inches by the next day.The next day, Birbal summoned the servants again. He noticed that a servant’s stick was two inches shorter than the others.He knew who the thief was.The foolish thief had cut the stick shorter by two inches as he thought it would grow two inches. Thus, proving his guilt.Moral of the story: Truth and justice will always prevail. <h3>4. But keep falling back.Soon, one of the two frogs started to believe the other frogs — that they’ll never be able to escape the pit and eventually died after giving up.The other frog keeps trying and eventually jumps so high that he escapes the pit. The other frogs were shocked at this and wondered how he did it.The difference was that the second frog was deaf and couldn’t hear the discouragement of the group. Once, a kitten saw the full moon for the first time. She had never seen the full moon. When she saw the full moon, she thought it was a little bowl of milk. She wanted to have a bowl of milk in the sky. So, she closed her eyes and stretched her neck and opened her mouth and licked. But she ended up with a bug in her mouth.She again tried to get the bowl of milk. This time, she pulled herself together and wiggled her bottom and sprang from the top step of the porch. But she fell and bumped her nose and banged her ear. Poor kitten, the bowl of milk was still there. So, she decided to chase it. She went down the sidewalk, through the garden, past the field but it never seemed to get closer.Then, she ran to the tallest tree and she climbed to the top of it. But kitten still could not reach the bowl of milk. Afterward, she saw another bowl of milk in the pond and it was bigger. So, she leaped into the pond but she was all wet and could not get the milk. Hungry and tired, she went back home. There she saw a big bowl of milk on the porch, just waiting for her. At last, she finally got a bowl of milk. Moral:Never give up easily.

There lived two frogs in a pond near a village. One day, suddenly it started raining and the frogs had nowhere to go. The frogs, to find shelter and food hopped into a nearby house.The frogs went inside the house and started looking for food. As they were searching for food, they both fell into a vessel filled with milk. They both were drowning in the vessel full of milk. They tried very hard but they could not get out of it. The sides were very slippery and every time they tried to get out, they again fell into the milk. So, they started swimming to save themselves from drowning. They did not stop and kept swimming in the vessel.For a long time, frogs kept swimming in the milk but nothing happened. In the end, one of the frogs said, “We have been swimming for quite some time and we are not reaching anywhere. There is no point in trying anymore. I think we should give up, we are going to drown anyway.”The other frog did not want to give up easily. So, he said, “Someone will surely find us. Let’s swim for some more time.” The other frog agreed and they continued swimming in the milk.After some time, the first frog again said, “I am exhausted, I cannot swim anymore.” The other frog managed to convince him again and they continued paddling in the milk.A couple of hours later, the first frog gave up. He said, “I am not going to swim now. I am tired and no one is coming to help us. We are going to die anyway.” The frog gave up and drowned in the milk.The other frog continued to swim in the milk. He did not give up and paddled in the milk. Above ten minutes after the first frog gave up, the other frog felt something solid under his feet. The frog then realized that due to paddling around in the milk, the milk was turning into butter. The frogs had churned the milk into butter. The frog was very happy.The frog continued paddling with more energy and enthusiasm and finally, the butter started accumulating and the frog could finally escape from the vessel. On her way she thought about what she would do with all of that money.&nbsp;She dreamed about the ribbons she had seen in the town square and that wonderful book she had always wanted to read. Some money would still be left, she thought about buying another cow from that money.The other cow would give more milk and she would get richer. That money could be used to buy a new pair of fancy shoes or glitters! And another cow!The milkmaid was very excited.But in her excitement she tripped over a small stone and dropped all the milk. The milk seeped into the ground and she had nothing left.Moral:Do not count your chickens until they hatch and focus on the task at hand.
