He told them that the thief’s stick would grow two inches by the next day.The next day, Birbal summoned the servants again. He noticed that a servant’s stick was two inches shorter than the others.He knew who the thief was.The foolish thief had cut the stick shorter by two inches as he thought it would grow two inches. Thus, proving his guilt.Moral of the story: Truth and justice will always prevail. <h3>4. The stars and the Moon decided to ask someone else.They went to another window and saw an old man. Proudy Moon

Once, a kitten saw the full moon for the first time. She had never seen the full moon. When she saw the full moon, she thought it was a little bowl of milk. She wanted to have a bowl of milk in the sky. So, she closed her eyes and stretched her neck and opened her mouth and licked. But she ended up with a bug in her mouth.She again tried to get the bowl of milk. This time, she pulled herself together and wiggled her bottom and sprang from the top step of the porch. But she fell and bumped her nose and banged her ear. Poor kitten, the bowl of milk was still there. So, she decided to chase it. She went down the sidewalk, through the garden, past the field but it never seemed to get closer.Then, she ran to the tallest tree and she climbed to the top of it. But kitten still could not reach the bowl of milk. Afterward, she saw another bowl of milk in the pond and it was bigger. So, she leaped into the pond but she was all wet and could not get the milk. Hungry and tired, she went back home. There she saw a big bowl of milk on the porch, just waiting for her. At last, she finally got a bowl of milk. Moral:Never give up easily.

There was once a little grey planet that was very sad. The people living there hadn't looked after it, despite them having all the inventions and space ships you could ever need. They had contaminated the whole countryside so much with rubbish and pollution that there were no plants or animals left.One day, a little boy was walking on the planet, when he passed a cave and noticed a small red flower inside. The flower was very sick - almost dying - so the boy carefully dug up the flower, with roots, soil and everything. Then, he started looking for a place where he could look after it. He searched all over the planet, but everywhere was so contaminated that there was no place the flower could possibly live in. Then he looked up at the sky and noticed the moon. It seemed to the boy that maybe the plant could survive there.So the little boy put on his astronaut suit, and climbed into a space ship. He put the little red flower in the back, and off they went to the moon.Far away from all that pollution - and with the boy visiting it every day to tend it - the flower started to grow. The flower was so well cared for, that it had soon germinated, giving birth to others, and these other flowers spread onto other flowers. Before long, the whole moon was completely covered with flowers.That's why, whenever the little boy's flowers open up, for a few minutes the moon takes on a soft red sheen, like a warning light. Maybe it's telling us that if you don't look after your planet, a day will come when flowers will only be able to grow on the moon. Moral:Earth is the only planet we have. The Red Moon

The Sun and the Moon were best friends once upon a time. As they were always together there was no concept of the night. No one in the world knew anything about the night. They did not know anything about sleeping. The children played the whole day without feeling sleepy. One day, the Moon and the Sun were passing by and saw the ocean. The ocean was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen. The ocean enjoyed the Sun’s warmth and Moon’s beautiful face. She loved the moon more than the Sun. Whenever Moon was around, she created waves and tides in excitement. This made Sun very jealous.One afternoon, as the Ocean slept, the Sun did something terrible. He slowly lifted the Moon and threw him against the wall of the sky! Instead of breaking like glass, the Moon created millions of sparks that could not go out. He called the sparks “stars.”The Stars knew what the Sun had done to the Moon. The stars were very angry at the Sun and decided to attack the Sun. The stars formed an army and went on to attack the Sun. Before they could attack the Sun, the Ocean stopped them and asked, “Where are you going little stars?” The stars replied, “We are going to destroy the Sun!”The Ocean did not want either the Sun or Moon to be hurt or destroyed in a fight. She loved them both. So, she made a quick plan. She told the stars she had an idea. She called the Moon and the Sun. She told them to share their time with her. The Sun would visit her in the day, and the Moon at night. Both were very happy with the idea. This made the Ocean happy too. The Stars followed the Moon every day, to protect him from the Sun.From that day onwards, people saw the Sun in the day and the Moon at night. Moral:Fighting is not the solution to every problem.

The Moon was a very lazy person. She lived her life very lethargically and it bothered a lot of people.Because she would not show up on time, the tides on the sea would act up, her admirers on the Earth would become sad. In general it would result in a lot of chaos.Her best friend, Sun, was very tired of Moon’s ways and decided to teach her a lesson.Sun knew that despite her irresponsible behaviour, she cared very deeply about the inhabitants of Earth. So to teach her a lesson, the sun decided to not show up in the sky every morning.Now, there would be elongated days on Earth, short nights or the opposite. Plants were wilting, animals were confused. Humans had no idea what to do.When Moon showed up, she noticed this and decided to urgently talk with Sun. “Sun! Why are you not following your daily routine? Life on Earth is suffering.”The Sun retorted, “Why are you not following your routine?”The Moon was embarrassed and she learned her lesson.Since then she followed a routine. Moral:When you break your routine, it affects not just you but the ones dependent on you. Thus it is important to have an efficient routine.

Moon’s routine

Once upon a time, a bear was living in a jungle. He admired the moon shining up in the sky. One night, he was looking up at the sky and thought of giving a birthday present to the moon. But he did not know the Birthdate of the moon. He was not even sure what gift he would give to the moon. So, he decided to have a little chat with the moon. He decided to ask the moon what it would like to have for a present and so the bear went up into the mountains to get close to it. When the bear said “Hello” to the moon, his voice echoed back. The bear thought the response was coming from the moon. Because of the echo, everything the bear said was repeated back to him. The bear asked the moon, “What do you want for the birthday?” His voice echoed, and he thought that the moon was asking him what he wanted for the birthday. So, he replied that he wanted a hat. The same sentence was repeated because of the echo and the bear thought that the moon also wanted a hat for his gift. Now, bear knew what he wanted to gift the moon for his birthday. That night bear put the hat in a tree where the moon could find it. As the moon sneaked through the branches of the tree, it appeared that the moon was wearing the hat. The bear saw the moon wearing the hat and was pleased.The next morning, the hat fell out of the tree and to the bear’s doorstep. The bear believed that the moon had left it there as a present for him. The wind blew the hat away, the bear chased it, and when he could not find it, he decided to go to the mountain and talk with the moon. The bear told the moon, “I still love you” and the moon, of course, replied with the same.

Happy Birthday Moon 

The Sun and the Moon were great friends. One day, they were talking about who was the strongest among them. The discussion resulted in a heated argument and they started fighting. Every day, they use to discuss the same but never came to any decision.The argument carried out for ages and finally, the Sun declared that the Moon could not shine if the Sun’s light did not fall on it. He said to the Moon, “You do not have your light so, I am stronger than you.” To which Moon proudly replied, “You give light, but you burn the earth with your heat.
