What’s in it for you and your child?This story is an animated fantasy about two little girls Satsuki and Mei who move to the countryside to live with their father while their mother recovers in a nearby hospital. The old country house has secrets of its own and the girls meet friendly spirits in the forest nearby. One such spirit is Totoro, a cuddly rabbit-like creature. Mei is very curious and explorative of nature and soon both girls befriend Totoro and his friends. The bond between the sisters is very strong and time and again children learn the emphasis of spending time with family and cultivating healthy relationships in life.
